Product Material : Handwoven rattan
A set of rectangular rattan placemats with somewhere proper to keep them. Each set comes with a handwoven holder that sits neatly on a sideboard or shelf, so the mats stay tidy between meals rather than getting stacked unevenly in a drawer.
Available in four finishes. Dark Brown brings depth and warmth to a table setting, Honey Brown sits between rustic and refined, Natural keeps things light and coastal, and White Wash adds a soft, bleached look that pairs beautifully with pale wood furniture.
Features
- Handwoven rattan placemats with a matching holder
- Two sizes: 20cm x 30cm or 25cm x 35cm
- Choose a set of 6 or a set of 8 placemats
- Four finishes: Dark Brown, Honey Brown, Natural and White Wash
- Heat resistant, ideal for resting warm dishes and pans straight from the oven or hob
- Each placemat is handmade, so slight variation in colour and weave pattern is normal
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to dry fully before storing in the holder. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.
Styling
The holder keeps your full set together and presentable on a sideboard, shelf or kitchen counter, with no loose mats sliding around in a cupboard. Prefer placemats without a holder? See our Rectangular Rattan Table Placemats. For a different shape, take a look at the Round Rattan Placemat with Holder Set or the Oval Rattan Placemat with Holder Set, and finish the table with our Square Rattan Coaster Set with Holder.
FAQs
What comes in each set?
Either 6 or 8 rectangular rattan placemats in your chosen size and colour, together with a matching holder to store them in.
Which size should I choose?
The 20cm x 30cm size works well under smaller plates or glassware, and the 25cm x 35cm size suits a full dinner plate.
Can I put hot dishes on them?
Yes. The rattan is heat resistant, so you can rest warm dishes and pans straight from the oven or hob.
